Earl of Hindh | Indian Cuisine + Malt Whiskies

2020 Closed Down

North Indian · Indian · Traditional

Stop by and step in at ‘Earl of Hindh’ and you turn back time to India during the 1900’s . Be it the grand portraits of Maharajas adorned with intricate wooden carving, majestic full length mirrors, Antique chandeliers or the rustic tiled flooring, the palatial ambience of the restaurant engulfs you. A Tandoor oven in open view, where diners can watch how breads and Tandoori dishes are prepared, lends to the atmosphere.
The menu is reminiscent of Indian cuisine predominant during the Reign of the British, - an era where The Maharajas and royalty dined and hosted some of the most lavish feasts and exotic dishes. The glimpse into the past reflects how the art of fine Indian cooking has disappeared over the years and how ‘Earl of Hindh’ aims at reviving the aromas, flavours and art of royal cooking.
The recipes and hours of dedicated consultation on the dishes have resulted in a menu that is truly divine. The restaurant will boast of a delectable range of varied grilled Indian kababs, Indian curries, breads and long grained basmati rice preparations.
Moreover, we would be pairing some of the finest Single Malts and Whiskeys with Indian food, which would be a novelle concept in Singapore.

Leather Chesterfield sofas, bronze lamps and antique fans create a setting of turn-of-the-century
