Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa has officially unveiled its new T-For Asian Tea House; the latest addition to its collection of restaurants and bars.

 

Situated by the freshwater pool, the T-For Asian Tea House serves tangy Asian flavors from freshly prepared Chinese dim sum, noodles, pastries, light snacks to a stunning selection of exotic teas from different parts of the world.

 

“The addition of T-For Asian Tea House is a great addition to our existing diverse offerings of 4 restaurants. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea at any time of the day and enjoy some of the favorite Asian delicacies or Western delights” said F&B Manager Mr. Rashvan Ibrahim speaking regarding the opening.

 

Located just 15-20 minutes away from the airport; Sheraton Maldives is tropical paradise located on its very own private island and a heaven for those seeking stunning white sandy beaches and warm turquoise lagoons. Part of Sheraton Maldives appeal is the varied dining options available to its guests. From casual al fresco snacks to its international array of restaurants, visitors will find the perfect dining experience to suit their mood.

The front of the building is reconfigured to include a raised verandah, which overlooks the garden with the pool beyond.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A system of Chinese fret panels add detail to the new full height windows.

  The former Drifters Pub has the front walls removed to open the space up to garden views and a small patch of garden is cleared to include an alfresco seating area
  Existing dark timber coffered ceilings are brightened up and new Asian motifs added. The floor is re-stained darker.
  Bespoke seating in white aluminum and green strapping was created for this project. Manufactured by One Stop Singapore.
 

A take away counter with Asian Pastries, wraps and dim sum is included, along with a retail area selling select teas.

 

At one corner, a high top banquette is included with plenty of power points for using mobile devices while enjoying an afternoon tea.
