Location

The island of Fasmendhoo is located at Raa Atoll, district north of the Maldives. It is composed of 20 hectares of land and 100 hectares of lagoon. A scenic seaplane journey will cover the distance from Male [the capital city] in 45 minutes. Alternatively, a 30 minute domestic flight from Male to Ifuru Domestic Airport with a further 20 minute speed boat ride would be a great second choice.

Our consistent work in Zanzibar at our 5 star Resorts led us to the decision of building a new partnership with Leading Hotels of the World, the world leader for luxury hotels, here in the Maldives.

Emerald Collection Maldives will be the perfect destination for an unforgettable stay, for people who want to experience the beautiful white sands, tropical nature, and blue ocean of a Maldivian island, with luxurious ambience.

The resort will boast 120 luxurious villas with a contemporary touch, 60 of these will be located on the island, and the other 60 villas will be over the water. All villas will have their own private pool and Jacuzzi. Each room will feature : A flat screen TV, direct dial phone, king size bed [interconnecting rooms available] a modern bathroom with walk-in shower, separate WC + bidet, dressing room and wardrobe, luggage rack, hairdryer, bath robes personal safe, tea + coffee making facilities, daily re-freshed bar, twice daily maid service, controlled air-conditioning and overhead fan. WiFi internet access will be available all over the property.

The 120 rooms will also include 1 Royal Villa, 1 Presidential Water Villa and several varieties of Superior Beach Villas.

The main restaurant is set directly on the beach featuring indoor air-conditioned and outdoor alfresco dining at its best, facing the clear blue ocean. A lavish buffet will be available for breakfast and lunch. The buffet will be serving starters with fresh seafood, vegetables, salads, meat, fish and local special dishes, fruits and desserts. At Aqua, all your culinary wishes come true, enjoy international cuisine with a special hint of Maldivian spices.

Our Asian restaurant will be the perfect choice for guests who want to discover the tasty and delicious creations of our Asian Chefs. The main goal of our Chef is to deliver an authentic flavour of the East while respecting the traditions of the past. The restaurant will be located in the middle of the forested island, creating a spectacular and innovative structure connected with the nature of the island.

All the exquisite dishes are made according to the South American tradition using only fresh ingredients. In this South American specialty restaurant the guests will be able to enjoy their dinners and discover the variety, freshness and the natural health benefits of this legendary cuisine.

This restaurant will be situated in a tropical jungle setting and guest will enjoy the dishes in a typical South American dining environment with natural stones, wood interiors and the magical lushness of the Amazon rainforest.

Beach Club Grill

Serving lunch and dinner on one of the best locations of the island, the Beach Club Grill will be facing the crystal clear water of the house lagoon. The uniqueness of the restaurant is to be found in the vast selection of fresh meat, fish, shellfish, and vegetables cooked on a stone grill, which especially gives the dishes a smooth, matchless flavor. A pizza and pasta station will also be available in the Beach Club.
