One of the most popular spots for soaking up the sun, savoring chilled cocktails, and indulging in delectable local cuisine is Bayahibe Beach. Meanwhile, Playa La Minitas stands out as a haven for sports lovers — every imaginable water sport, from kayaking to windsurfing, is right at your fingertips.

Meanwhile, eighty of my fellow shipmates enjoyed an exhilarating baseball game, taking their seats behind home plate to watch La Roma Toros face off against the Santo Domingo Leons. With every pitch and swing, the crowd buzzed with excitement — wondering if they were witnessing the rise of the next Rodriguez, Ortiz, Sosa, Soto, or perhaps even Tatis, Jr. Could fortune favor us with the discovery of a new superstar?

As night falls, the town transforms into a twinkling wonderland. Stroll along festively decorated streets, illuminated by dazzling lights and filled with the joyful sounds of the holiday season. Later in the evening, The Odyssey will set sail once more, journeying to its next destination: the vibrant city of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
